


ArmInfo. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, along with the majority of his cabinet members will be taking leave during the election campaigning period. This was announced by Pashinyan at a government meeting on May 7.
According to him, starting May 8, he and most of the ministers will be on leave to participate in the election campaigning. "Holding parliamentary elections in accordance with international democratic standards is a priority for the authorities. Our goal is to ensure the free expression of the will of the citizens of Armenia and to exclude any unlawful influence on the will of voters," the Prime Minister said. He added that while law enforcement agencies have already performed extensive work, they "must not relax their vigilance" in order to prevent election bribes and other illegal activities from influencing the election results.
