"Europe is not only geography; it is also the values and principles we share. Therefore, I was pleased to attend the 8th meeting of the European Political Community in Armenia. 48 leaders from across the continent, including Canada as a guest, gathered in Yerevan to discuss how to cooperate more closely at a time of profound geopolitical transformation," she wrote on Facebook. According to her, the European Political Community discussed how to coordinate actions to strengthen democratic resilience, develop connectivity, and enhance economic and energy security, focusing on resilience to the threats facing all summit participants.
"Armenia Core Group - Armenia faces a challenging pre-election environment marked by hybrid threats, including disinformation campaigns and foreign influence operations. The Core Group met to coordinate support for Armenia. Over the past year, our EU-Armenia partnership has developed at an unprecedented pace. We are significantly investing in the country's resilience and supporting the integrity of the upcoming elections. Although the European Political Community meeting has concluded, we continue our work in Yerevan with the first-ever EU-Armenia Summit," Kallas noted.
