If parliamentary elections were held this coming weekend, the ruling Civil Contract party, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, would secure 26.7% of the vote, according to the "Terz-Blot-Re-Blot" survey conducted by MPG, the official representative of the Gallup International Association in Armenia.
According to the poll, another 14.1% of respondents said they would vote for Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia party, 8.2% for second president Robert Kocharyan's Armenia bloc, 7.5% for Gagik Tsarukyan's Prosperous Armenia party, and 4.2% for former Ombudsman Arman Tatoyan's Wings of Unity. 3.1% wold vote for the Democracy, Law, Discipline Party, 2.7% for Edmon Marukyan's Bright Armenia Party, 2.3% for Gurgen Simonyan's Meritocratic Party, 1.9% for former Mayor Hayk Marutyan's New Force, and 1.7% for Aram Sargsyan's Republic Party. Nine additional political forces currently polling between 0.3% and 1.1% are also vying for seats in the June 7 election. Interestingly, 8.3% of citizens refused to answer, 8% found it difficult to answer, 1.3% said they would spoil their ballot, and 5.7% said they would not vote.
When asked about their confidence in their choice, 67.2% of respondents said their stance was clear and their opinion would not change, 10.9% said they were somewhat confident, 5.9% were somewhat unsure, and 10.8% - said they were absolutely not sure and their opinion could change, 5.2% - found it difficult to answer.
