
ArmInfo. On April 24, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Alice Ruffo, Minister Delegate to the French Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs, and Aurore Berger, Minister Delegate for Gender Equality and the Fight against Discrimination to the French Prime Minister.
According to the RA government press service, the Prime Minister welcomed the high-ranking French delegation's visit to Armenia and noted that it comes at an important time for the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan noted that Armenian-French cooperation is currently at an unprecedented level and expressed confidence in its further expansion and strengthening in the near future. The head of state emphasized his close dialogue with French President Emmanuel Macron, noting the latter's undeniable role in establishing peace. The Prime Minister attached great importance to deepening cooperation between Armenia and France in various areas, including security, veterans' affairs, human rights protection, and the fight against discrimination and violence.
The Minister Delegate to the Minister of Armed Forces and Veterans conveyed warm greetings from the French President to Pashinyan, emphasizing that her country will continue to support Armenia in all areas, including advancing the peace agenda.
Alice Rufo and Aurora Berger expressed readiness to expand ties with their Armenian partners and exchange experiences in the aforementioned areas.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the organization of high-level bilateral visits, the European Political Community summit to be held in Armenia, and cooperation within the International Organization of La Francophonie.
