
ArmInfo. As part of his working visit to Kazakhstan, Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan held separate meetings with his counterparts from Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, and Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh.
The Armenian President's press service told ArmInfo that during the meeting between Khachaturyan and Japarov, the parties emphasized the importance of continuously developing and deepening mutually beneficial cooperation on international platforms. The parties noted that coordinated and active interaction in multilateral formats contributes to both the advancement of the bilateral agenda and more effective coordination of positions on regional and global issues. In this vein, Khachaturyan and Japarov reaffirmed their readiness to continue constructive cooperation within the framework of international organizations.
Regarding bilateral relations, the interlocutors noted that, despite the current positive dynamics, the potential for cooperation has not been fully realized. In this regard, the parties emphasized the importance of taking practical steps to intensify economic ties, stimulate direct contacts between representatives of the business community, and identify investment opportunities.
During the conversation, special attention was paid to the possibility of introducing direct flights between the two countries. The parties noted that such an initiative could significantly contribute to strengthening ties between citizens of the two countries, developing tourism, and activating business, trade, and economic cooperation, creating new opportunities for mutually beneficial projects.
The presidents of Armenia and Kyrgyzstan emphasized the importance of exchanging experience in various fields, particularly in agriculture, high technology, and related industries. It was noted that expanding cooperation in these areas, implementing innovative solutions, and sharing professional expertise could significantly enhance the economic competitiveness of the two countries and contribute to sustainable development.
During the meeting, the parties also touched on developments in the region. Khachaturyan and Japarov emphasized the need to strengthen stability, peace, and mutual trust as an important prerequisite for long- term development, and also noted the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and cooperation.
During the meeting between the Armenian President and his Mongolian counterpart, the effective and mutually beneficial cooperation that has developed between the countries at various international and multilateral forums was noted. At the same time, the parties emphasized that significant untapped potential remains in bilateral relations, requiring more focused and consistent efforts to realize it. The Mongolian President presented a number of international initiatives and events held in the country in recent years, paying particular attention to programs aimed at increasing women's participation and developing their potential. He expressed hope that in the future, Armenian women will also actively participate in these initiatives, contributing to the deepening of cooperation.
During the conversation, the parties also touched on developments in the region. In this regard, the Armenian President recalled that after August 8, 2025 (the signing of the Washington Declaration - ed.), the South Caucasus entered a new stage of development, in which the principles of good-neighborliness, stability, and peaceful coexistence have acquired key significance.
At the end of the meeting, Khachaturyan and Khurelsukh discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in agriculture, education, science, high technology, and artificial intelligence (AI). The parties emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and implementing joint programs in these areas as a key foundation for the further development of bilateral relations.
