ArmInfo. On April 21, Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the National Assembly, received a delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, Chairman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the Senate of the French Republic.
According to the NA press service, welcoming the members of the friendship group to Armenia, the Speaker emphasized the importance of organizing such reciprocal visits for the development of bilateral ties.
The discussions focused on interparliamentary cooperation and bilateral ties, Armenia-EU relations, the established peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as regional developments. Alen Simonyan drew the attention of the delegation of the Senate of the French Republic to the issue of Armenian captives Azerbaijan, as well as those considered missing.
