Prosecutor`s Office: AMD 26,789,000 to be confiscated in favor of RA

ArmInfo.  26,789,000 drams will be confiscated in favor of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced in a statement by the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the source, on April 7, 2026, the Anti-Corruption Court  satisfied the official request of the Department for the Protection  of State Interests of the RA Prosecutor General's Office. The  Department filed a petition to invalidate a purchase and sale  agreement signed by the Mayor of Yerevan and an individual on August  9, 2005.

The decision invalidated the purchase and sale agreement for a 4,935  square meter plot of land adjacent to Bagratunyats and Masis Streets  in Yerevan. Given the impossibility of returning the said land plot,  26 million 789 thousand drams will be confiscated from the individual  in favor of the Republic of Armenia.
