ArmInfo. Armenia is currently facing a profound identity crisis, manifested in a cognitive crisis. This was stated by the author of the initiative, Suren Petrosyan, at the conference "The Near and Middle East: Challenges and Prospects."
According to Petrosyan, a multi-vector war has been declared on the Armenian people, and unless Armenia recognizes the world and its place in it, it will be virtually impossible to overcome this cognitive crisis. The solution, as the political scientist noted, lies in restoring the viability of the state. "Against the backdrop of global processes and the war in Iran, which has become the bloodiest war in recent years, Armenia must finally emerge from its status as an 'object' and acquire the status of a 'subject,'" emphasized Suren Petrosyan.
He also added that the country must finally become a subject of international law that shapes its own national project, rather than adapting to imposed rules.
