RA Rescue Service on high alert due to risk of flooding in some  regions of Armenia

ArmInfo. Due to the risk of flooding in the Vedi and Marmarik river basins, the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Rescue Service has been put on high alert by order  of the Minister of Internal Affairs (MIA). This was reported by the  press service of the MIA's Rescue Service.

According to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center of the  Ministry of Environment of Armenia, heavy precipitation and  thunderstorms are expected on the evening of April 19 and April  20-21, resulting in increased river water levels. "We urge you to  remain vigilant and, if necessary, call the Ministry of Internal  Affairs' Operational Control Center at 112," the ministry concluded.
