


ArmInfo. At the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan welcomed the Turkish side's initiative to include Armenia in the Turkey-Georgia-Azerbaijan regional alliance.
According to the NA press service, the proposal was put forward by Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmus during a meeting with the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament. It was noted that Armenia's inclusion would further foster peace and stability in the region. At the Assembly, Simonyan and Kurtulmus discussed other details of this initiative.
Recall, the establishment of a trilateral cooperation format between the countries was announced back in April 2025 at the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The agreement was reached in the context of discussions related to the further development of parliamentary relations.
