Norwegian Ambassador visits RA Central Election Commission 

ArmInfo. The Ambassador of Norway to Armenia, Bergljot Hovland (residence in Tbilisi), visited the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Armenia.

According to the press service of the Armenian Central Election  Commission, the Norwegian diplomat was received by Deputy Chairperson  of the CEC Nune Hovhannisyan and Secretary Armen Smbatyan.

The Central Election Commission recalled that last year, the CEC and  the UN Development Programme announced the launch of the ARTEMIS  project, aimed at promoting transparent and inclusive reforms in the  electoral system. The Norwegian Ambassador also participated in the  signing of the document. Hovland expressed interest in the project's  work and the preparatory processes for the National Assembly  elections scheduled for June 7.
