


ArmInfo.A trilateral meeting was held at the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the participation of Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for European Affairs to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, and Audra Plepyte, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
According to the MFA press service, the participants discussed specific issues on the Armenia-France and Armenia-Lithuania bilateral agendas, countering disinformation, and cooperation within the framework of the Armenia-EU strategic partnership agenda. Representatives of France and Lithuania reaffirmed their support for Armenia's European aspirations.
The interlocutors also touched upon preparations for the European Political Community summit to be held in Yerevan. The French and Lithuanian sides reiterated their readiness to assist Armenia in organizing the summit in the best possible way.
In the context of regional processes, Deputy Minister Kostanyan presented to his interlocutors the positive developments taking place in the South Caucasus as a result of the Washington agreements, referring to the normalization of Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. During the meeting, views were also exchanged on several issues on the international agenda.
