Forum important step in development of sports and international cooperation - Gagik Tsarukyan

ArmInfo. The first forum of the Eurasian Association of Sports Cooperation was held in Armenia. This was announced by Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous  Armenia Party and President of the National Olympic Committee of the  Republic of Armenia.

"This large-scale event brought together authoritative and  influential representatives of world sports in our country -  presidents and vice-presidents of the Olympic committees of European  and Asian countries, heads of leading companies, as well as  world-renowned athletes. The forum was an important step in the  development of sports and international cooperation. It demonstrated  that sports can unite people and facilitate the implementation of  joint programs," Gagik Tsarukyan said in a statement.

It emphasized that hosting such a high-level conference in Armenia is  a great honor and a testament to the international trust in the  country. "This confirmed that Armenia is perceived as an active and  reliable partner on the international sports platform," the statement  said.
