


ArmInfo. Armenia's Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan has left for the People's Republic of China to attend the 61st session of the Executive Committee of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP) in Shanghai, as announced in a statement issued by the supervisory body.
The statement highlights that Anna Vardapetyan was elected as a member of the IAP Executive Committee on September 9, 2025, during the IAP General Assembly held in Singapore. The Executive Committee is the governing and administrative body of the IAP. It consists of a president, vice-presidents, and 20 members.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia has been a member of the IAP since January 1, 1999, and was nominated to the Executive Committee for the first time in 2025. The Association was founded in 1995 with the goal of supporting all prosecutors in promoting the rule of law and ensuring full compliance with the IAP's professional ethics standards.
In addition to participating in the 61st session of the IAP Executive Committee, Anna Vardapetyan is scheduled to meet with Ying Yong, Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Prosecutor's Office, and Roel Dona, Secretary General of the IAP.
