AMD 111.9mln damages recovered

ArmInfo.  Damages in the amount of 111.9 million drams recovered.

According to the press service of the RA Prosecutor General's Office,  an investigation conducted by the Investigative Committee established  that a company that participated in the tender announced by the  Hayastan All-Armenian Fund on April 8, 2015, for the purchase of  14,000 tons of bitumen and was declared the winner, prepared and  submitted falsified invoices to the Fund between August and November  2016, resulting, according to preliminary estimates, in losses to the  state in the amount of 171,515,000 drams. On April 7, 2026, the  prosecutor initiated criminal proceedings against the director of  CJSC A.A., the company's founder A.M., and the director of LLC H.A.  They are accused of aiding and abetting large- scale tax evasion.

During the criminal proceedings, damages in the amount of 111 million  900 thousand drams were recovered from the state. The preliminary  investigation is ongoing.
