ArmInfo.The Armenian Government has summoned an extraordinary closed session on June 27. There are two issues on the agenda.

ArmInfo.In the process of creating a rule-of-law state, the confidence in the justice of the courts is important. This was stated during the discussions on the  topic "Formation and development of administrative justice in the  Republic of Armenia" on June 26, German Ambassador to Armenia  Matthias Kiesler stated. At the same time, he expressed confidence  that the new Armenian government will give an important impetus to  this process.

ArmInfo. Armenian democracy gained a new opportunity to become stronger and guarantee its irreversibility, as evidenced by the recent events in Armenia. The deputy from the Republican Party of Armenia Samvel Pharmanyan stated this from the rostrum of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

ArmInfo.  Armenian Justice Minister  Artak Zeynalyan paid a working visit to France between June 18 and  20. In the framework of the visit Zeynalyan met with Deputy Secretary  General of Council of Europe Gabriella Battaini- Dragoni.  

ArmInfo. High Representative of  the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice  President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini furing the  meeting with Armenia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab  Mnatsakanyan mentioned the timeliness of the meeting, which provides  an opportunity to have a first-hand acquaintance with ongoing  processes in Armenia, to exchange ideas over urgent issues, firs of  all further development of Armenia-European Union relations.

ArmInfo. On June 20, Defense Minister David Tonoyan received Ambassador of Lebanon to Armenia Maya Daguerre.

ArmInfo.The government of Armenia will now engage in the qualification of charitable programs. Amendments to the law "On Charity" were made at an extraordinary  meeting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on June  20 in the first reading.

"The citizen is not the material for the fine," Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan told the government on June 15, reacting to the bill on amending the  RA Law "On Police" regarding mobile video cameras. The Armenian  government has considered the initiative of the deputies from the  Republican Party of Armenia, who are invited to refuse mobile video  recording as evidence of violations of traffic rules.

Armenia hopes to receive gas from Russia on lower price, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the interview to Russia Today.  Answering to the  question whether the gas issue makes one of the problems in relations  with Russia as its price is high for the Armenian consumer the Prime  Minister particularly said:

ArmInfo. The Armenian government at the June 15 session released the chairman of the RA Investigation Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan from his post.

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a working visit to Russia on June 14 at the Armenian Embassy in Russia, took part in an official dinner, at which prominent representatives of the Armenian community were invited.

ArmInfo. The government of Armenia considers the solution of monopolists' problems in the political and institutional spheres. Deputy Prime Minister Tigran  Avinyan stated in the National Assembly on June 13.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government should inform the CSTO about the escalation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the Nakhijevan section. Head of the NA  External Affairs Committee Armen Ashotyan stated this from the  rostrum of the parliament.

ArmInfo. The new government of Armenia is ready to implement all programs aimed at protecting the rights of children. This was stated by the Minister of Justice of the  Republic of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan during the meeting with the  delegation of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), headed by  the representative of the Tanya Radochai Foundation, on June 12.

ArmInfo.The Office of the RA Ombudsman presented an extraordinary report "On the state of Armenia's fulfillment of its obligations under the UN Convention and  relevant protocols on observing children's rights."

ArmInfo.. The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Araik Harutyunyan, received the delegation led by the head of the department of regional programs of the Eastern Neighborhood in the Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement of the European Commission Vasilis Maragos.
