ArmInfo. The results of the parliamentary elections of 2017 were not due to mass bribery of voters, as the opposition claims. Serzh Sargsyan, a candidate for  premieres, made such a statement in the National Assembly.

ArmInfo.Opposition in confusion. The leader of the opposition initiative, MP Nikol Pashinyan, just addressing the citizens gathered in Yerevan's square, said that at  the moment a completely new situation has developed and the opposition needs to think over further steps.

ArmInfo. The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) will officially present Serzh Sargsyan's candidature for the post of Prime Minister of the country. This  decision was unanimously adopted at today's meeting of the RPA Council in Tsakhkadzor.

New President of  Armenia  elected. Following the results of the vote held on March 2 in the National Assembly of Armenia, the only candidate, Armen Sargsyan, nominated by the ruling coalition, was elected the new president of the country.  For the candidacy of Sargsyan, 90 MPs of the Armenian parliament  voted,  with 10 against>

The procedure of secret voting in the country's presidency began in the Armenian parliament. Several dozen people gathered in front of the Parliament building, in whose hands the state flags of Armenia and the black mourning flag and the poster of the "President should  be elected by the people."

ArmInfo. The parliamentary majority of the National Assembly of Armenia failed to include in the agenda of the meetings the draft amendments proposed by the "Tsarukyan bloc" faction in the RA Electoral Code. In favor of the submitted document, 39 deputies voted at 56 against.
