The City Council of Haifa, Israel, has unanimously recognized the Armenian Genocide in  the Ottoman Turkey in 1915 and approved the construction of a memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims. Thus, Haifa is the second  Israeli city to recognize the Armenian Genocide, Petah Tikva being the first. In April 2020, a memorial commemorating the Armenian  Genocide victims was set up there.

Chief of  Staff to the Prime Minister of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan stated this  during a press conference, summing up the results of the global  festival held in September.

ArmInfo.The U.S. Department of State has commented on the results of the Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs' meeting in Washington.

Quite substantial talks between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan were held in Washington through the mediation of the US Secretary of  State, however, for obvious reasons, nothing was signed, but the  parties did not come to a common denominator. Stepan Grigoryan, head  of the Analytical Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation,  stated this on November 8 at a press conference in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.Representatives of the Israeli Foreign Ministry  visited the Armenian Genocide Museum today.  According to the press  service of the Museum, the museum was visited by Simona Halperin,  Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel,  Head of the Eurasia and Western Balkans Department, and Michal  Hershkovitz, Director of the Central Asia and Caucasus Department.
