ArmInfo. Armenia-EU cooperation should not be viewed in the prism of relations between Sharmazanov-Switalski and Switalski-Harutyunyan. Vice Speaker of the  Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov said this in a conversation with ArmInfo correspondent, referring to today's statement by the head of the European delegation of the European Union Piotr Switalski that if some people do not like the EU presence in Armenia, this presence can be stopped.

I suppose we will be able to announce the end of  the talks in the near future. Naturally, this will be followed by  several more phases - coordination (given that the EU comprises 28  countries), initialing and signing," Nalbandian says, adding that the  agreement will reflect the high level and the wide volume of the  current Armenia-EU relations and the prospects for future partnership  in various areas and in all possible dimensions. "We are very much  interested in it and we feel the same interest of the EU," he says.
