According to the press service of the Armenian Parliament, Ashotyan stressed the importance of signing the Agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership of the EU-Armenia, which will be signed in November at the Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels. In this context, Ashotyan noted that the signed agreement provides for a qualitative increase in the level of relations between Armenia and the EU, which, in turn, will create an opportunity for more active cooperation. Armen Ashotyan also noted that the political part of the agreement is almost the same as that of the countries that signed the association, and in this respect Armenia expects political support from the EU to improve the efficiency of the judicial system, improve the institutions of democracy and protect human rights.
