ArmInfo. On October 2 RA  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan appealed to the people to immediately  gather near the building of the National Assembly of Armenia.

A few days ago, the  European Court of Human Rights delivered its first decision on one of  the verdicts in the case of March 1, 2008, and this decision is very  important (referring to the lawsuit filed by one of the defendants in  the March 1 case of Mushegh Saghatelyan, ed.) . Prime Minister of  Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this at a meeting with representatives  of the Armenian community of the United States in New York on  September 23.

Prime Minister of  Armenia Nikol Pashinyan starts negotiations with parliamentary and  extra-parliamentary political forces on the terms and conditions for  holding early parliamentary elections. Pashinyan said this during a  meeting in New York with representatives of the Armenian community of  the United States.

ArmInfo. The brother of the  third president of Armenia, Alexander Sargsyan, today made a  statement regarding the criminal prosecutions against him, the  attitude of his family members, and the call of Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan "to return $ 30 million stored in one of the Armenian banks  to the RA budget." In particular, Sargsyan said: "On September 11,  Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan openly and  publicly voiced threats against the citizen of the Republic of  Armenia Alexander Sargsyan and gave me a week to return legally the  funds owned by me to the state budget. Of course, Pashinyan did not  say anything about why and on what basis I should return this money  to the treasury.

The international community at all levels should continue to resolutely address the dangerous phenomena of the abuse of information technologies and the  media for the dissemination of hatred and intolerance.  Armenian  Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stated this in Geneva during a  speech at the 39th meeting of the Human Rights Council.

The second  president of Armenia Robert Kocharian is not surprised by the  statement of the Prime Minister of RA Nikol Pashinyan that he assumes  political responsibility for all the arrests that will have a  political sound. Armenian second president Robert Kocharian stated in  an interview to Yerevan Today.

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not see a trace of external forces in the wiretapping of the heads of the National Security Service and the  country's SIS, he told journalists on September 12.

ArmInfo.At the elections to the capital, the Council of Elders is not enough to solve the  issue of the mayor of Yerevan, and in this election it is necessary to finally resolve the issue with the counter-revolutionaries. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated at a rally in support of the candidate for mayor of Yerevan  Hayk Marutyan (head of the proportional list of the block "My step", is a member of the party "Civil contract" - Ed.).

ArmInfo. Today, the election campaign for the Council of Elders of Yerevan started, in  which 8 parties and 4 blocs take part. Some political forces started  the campaign by giving press conferences ("Yerkir Tsirani"), the  others organized a march through the streets of Yerevan  ("Dashnaktsutyun"), others will hold a rally ("My step"), the rest  will hold courtyard meetings.

ArmInfo. During the events of March 1-2, 2008, the current Chief of the Armenian Police Valery Osipyan saw that the demonstrators had sticks, but not firearms. He stated this in an interview with journalists. According to him, a large number of police officers were involved in the March 1-2 operation, but one can not unequivocally assert that one of them exceeded his official duties and committed a criminal offense.

The Head of the Special Investigative Service (SIS) of Armenia, Sasun Khachatryan refused to comment on the statement made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that the case on the events of March 1, 2008 in Yerevan has been fully disclosed. "I am not that official who can comment on the statements of the Prime Minister of Armenia," he told journalists on August 30.
