ArmInfo.The solemn opening of the 3rd forum of Armenian parties took place in the parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh. Representatives of political forces of the Armenian parliament, as well as extra-parliamentary forces of Armenia and Artsakh (Karabakh) attended the opening.

ArmInfo. "I said before the constitutional reform and after that parliamentary form of government is not suitable for Armenia," said Hovhannes Igityan, member of the  board of the Armenian National Movement (ANM), former chairman of the  parliamentary commission on foreign relations.

ArmInfo. Armenian National  Assembly chairman Ara Babloyan, a few days after his entry into the  new post, began structural reforms in the Parliament.  Particularly,  Babloyan told the parliamentarians at the first meeting of the newly  formed NA Council that the National Assembly and people's  representatives should proceed from the priorities and opportunities  of the state in the future, first of all, to determine the number of  staff members - assistants, experts, advisers to deputies.

ArmInfo.In its new program, the government compared with the previous document, concrete numbers will be presented, tasks and directions of the executive body's activity. On May 24, RA Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyan,  representing the ARF party, told journalists.  According to him, the  new document will presented to Armenian Parliament in the scheduled  terms, the results of the work of the government of last years will  be summed up.

ArmInfo.Armenian Gegharkunik area  Governon Rafik Grigoryan is dismissed from his post. The given  decision was made during the Government session on May 18.  Rafik  Grigoryan was elected in Armenian National Assembly of the sixth  convocation from the ruling Republican Party.

ArmInfo. The signing of  coalitional cooperation memorandum between Armenian Republican Party  and ARF Dashnaktsutyun took place in Armenian President's residency.

April 2 Parliamentary Elections in Armenia were conducted in  constructive environment, which was promoted by new Electoral Code adoption and implementation of various tools of falsifications preventions. This was stated by  Heidi Hautala, Member of the European Parliament who led the EP's  delegation which was an integral part of the International Electoral  Observation Mission (IEOM), during the briefing  moderated by Diogo  Pinto, Director of EuFoA, and attended by more than 30  representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission,  diplomatic corps and international NGOs.

ArmInfo.The Constitutional Court of Armenia started considering the suit "Armenian National Congress - People's Party of Armenia" on revision of the results of  the parliamentary elections on April 2.

ArmInfo. Artsvik Minasyan, Armenian Nature Protection Minister, ARFD member, thinks his  work as a Minister is more productive for Armenian than if he had lawmaker mandate, he stated during the conversation with journalists on April 24.

ArmInfo. Vigen Sargsyan, the Minsiter of Defense of Armenia, thinks that the problem of perished servicemen families, 1st  grade disabled persons and command staff  housing issue should be solved in first priority terms. This was stated by him on April 21 at a press conference held in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.The first session of Constitutional Court on ANP-PPA claim to review the parliamentary elections results will take place on April 25, Hovhannes Papikyan, CC  press secretary informed ArmInfo. 

ArmInfo.Pre electoral Yelk bloc did not appeal the results of parliamentary elections because of absence of proofs on falsification, Edmon Marukyan, Deputy of the  bloc stated during his interview with Svoboda  radio.

Despite Armenian National Congress does not believe Constitutional Court being fair, today a claim will be submitted declaring the results of the  parliamentary elections conducted on April 2 as invalid, Aram  Manukyan, ANC faction Secretary stated during a briefing meeting in  the Parliament on April 14.

Considering Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan's authorship in the constitutional reform, his future estimate, as Armenian national leader, depends on the shifting quality of Armenia to the parliamentary governance model.  Such an  opinion was expressed to ArmInfo by Russian expert Sergey  Markedonov.

ArmInfo.European Union is  concerned with the "political corruption" existing  in Armenia . This was stated by Piotr Switalski, the head of EU Delegation to Armenia.  According to Switalski, the votes trade in Armenia will  impact the  image of the country negatively. "I am concerned, 

ArmInfo.Armenia and Georgia have great untapped potential for cooperation. The Georgian Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze at a briefing with Armenian Foreign  Minister Edward Nalbandian expressed this opinion on April 11 in  Yerevan.
