ArmInfo.. OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs would be ready to accept a blitzkrieg from Azerbaijan on issue of Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian political expert Andranik  Migranyan, the head of New York office of Institute of Democracy and Cooperation, is convinced.

ArmInfo.Serzh Sargsyan does not believe that the July events on the at the contact  line  (Azerbaijan used the civilian population as a human shield, during the shelling of the Karabakh positions -ed.)  -are  a new stage  of  the Karabakh conflict, because,  according to his assessment, unfortunately, it is pretty long time the tension on the contact line has been established .

ArmInfo.The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has moved to a new stage - Azerbaijan stubbornly refuses to comply with the Vienna and St. Petersburg agreements, at the same time it periodically exacerbates the situation on the front line and conducts diversionary sorties. Edward Sharmazanov, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, stated this at a press conference in Yerevan on July 12.

ArmInfo.The current round of tensions over Karabakh will further deepen Russia's military presence in Armenia and Azerbaijan's military-technical cooperation with NATO member Turkey, notes Per Anders Johansen, a columnist for the oldest  Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, who recently visited Artsakh.

ArmInfo. European friends of Armenia (EuFoA) and the European Parliament deputies made a joint statement in connection with the recent aggravation of the situation on the Karabakh-Azerbaijani contact line.

ArmInfo.The co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Armenia and Azerbaijan by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) have expressed their concern  at the escalation of violence near Alkhani village in the Fuzili region, and regretted that this has led to casualties among which are civilians, including reportedly a two-year-old child.

ArmInfo.The US Department of State expressed deep concern over the July 4 ceasefire violations in the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, the State Department  spokesperson Heather NauErt said.

ArmInfo.Artsakh defense army has never acted as the initiator of attack, but is always ready to retaliate by any retaliatory steps any provocative action by the adversary, the  head of NKR Defense Army Levon Mnatsakanyan stated, referring to the accusations of Baku about the shelling of populated areas.
