A group of members of the European Parliament joined a number of public organizations and  expressed their concern about the methods and haste in carrying out the process of demarcation and delimitation of the borders of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan. ArmInfo. Georgia's MPs have voted to overturn a presidential veto on a contentious "transparency  on foreign influence" bill - often dubbed the "foreign agents law" - which has sparked several weeks of protests in the capital Tbilisi, the BBC reports. 

ArmInfo.The leader of the protest movement "Tavush in the name of the Motherland" Bagrat Galstanyan no  longer demands a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, but says that he has not abandoned the idea of initiating a process of expressing a vote of no confidence in the prime  minister. He announced this on the morning of May 29, speaking in the courtyard of the Church of St. Ann. 

ArmInfo.On May 27, 2024, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev greeted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, who is currently on a visit to Astana.

ArmInfo. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Vahe Ghazaryan "due to his busy schedule" refused  to meet with supporters of the "Tavush in the Name of the Motherland" movement, but invited the movement's leader Bagrat Galstanyan to meet "in a different format".

ArmInfo. Russia is counting on Azerbaijan's support in preparations for the opening of the Russian  Consulate General in Stepanakert, which will begin in the near future. This was stated by the head of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Grigory Karasin, at a meeting with a delegation of the Azerbaijani Parliament led by Chairman of the Committee on International Relations and Inter-Parliamentary  Relations Samad Seyidov.

ArmInfo.The protest movement in Armenia has two components: objective and artificial, external, associated with Russia. This opinion was expressed in an interview with the opposition Russian TV channel Dozhd by Stepan Grigoryan, director of the Armenian Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation.

ArmInfo.The < Civil Contract > excludes a meeting between Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan  and Primate ofTavush diocese, leader of the "Tavush for the Motherland" movement Bagrat Srbazan (Vazgen Galstanyan).   A MP from the ruling"Civil Contract"  faction Rustam Bakoyan stated.

On May 27, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a message  that on the same day, at the intersection of Abovyan-Sayat-Nova streets in Yerevan, during an action of disobedience carried out by the Tavush for the Motherland movement, one of its participants used tear gas against them, preventing them from official activities. This is stated in the message of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.On May 28 - the Day of the Battle of Sardarapat and the proclamation of the First Republic,  supporters of the movement "Tavush for the Motherland", led by the leader of the movement, candidate for Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Archbishop Bagrat Galsatyan, will celebrate in Sardarapat.

ArmInfo.There are no foreign citizens among those injured or killed as a result of floods in Lori  and Tavush regions, Spokesperson of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ani Badalyan reports.

ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani puppet court rejected the complaint of former state minister of Artsakh,  philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan for illegal arrest.  The decision was read out at the trial in the Baku Court of Appeal. Ruben Vardanyan's complaint was not satisfied.
