ArmInfo. Today, the leaderships of Azerbaijan and Armenia have a chance to speed up the signing of the final peace document. Both sides are in a hurry, although each has its own motivation. This is how Russian political scientist Sergei Markedonov commented on the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on May 10 in Almaty.

It is obvious that the falsehoods and fakes that the Russian President allegedly recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan back in 2020 are intended to confuse the Armenian and international public. This was stated on April 25 during a weekly briefing by official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in response to a request to comment on the theses that the Russian President recognized Artsakh as Azerbaijani back in 2020.

ArmInfo. On the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Noubar Afeyan, Co-Founder, The  Aurora Humanitarian Initiative, called the international community to  prevent a second Armenian Genocide. His appeal has been posted by The  New York Times, The Washington Post ? The London Times, as well as on  social media.

The rapprochement between Baku and Moscow is already a recorded fact, but the extent of  the same anti-Westernism and pro-Soviet nostalgia between the parties is different, as well as the motivations for building value lines. This is how political scientist Sergei Markedonov commented on the working visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to the Russian Federation.

ArmInfo.The  credibility and positioning of the OSCE in the global political and security  architecture "remain at stake".   OSCE Chair-in-Office, Malta's Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade Ian Borg, stated in Washington, Turan news agency reports. 

ArmInfo. The agreement, first signed with the United States in 2000, will be extended for another  seven years. On April 12, the Cabinet of Ministers of Armenia approved the proposal to sign an agreement "On the extension of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the  Government of the United States of America on cooperation in the field of countering the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction."

ArmInfo.The United States continues to work to collect facts in connection with what happened  in Nagorno-Karabakh. The information received has not yet become a report, so there is nothing to report yet. US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien stated this in an interview with the RFE/RL's Armenian  Service when asked to tell whether the fact-finding report on Artsakh, which the State Department promised to prepare, is ready.
