"Russia has been an OSCE Minsk Group co-chair for the past 20 years and has been active in the Nagorno- Karabakh settlement. Taking into account the geographic proximity and the common history of our nations, the settlement of the conflict is of priority to us and is included in the top priority issues of the Russian foreign policy. It is noteworthy that OSCE Minsk Group can help - "lend a shoulder", suggest solution variants. The settlement depends not on mediators, but on the conflicting parties", reads the statement issued by the MFA.
