The large-scale armed hostilities in Artsakh are yet to start and the April developments were just "an exhibition performance" of the Azerbaijani authorities, Zaruhi Postanjyan, Head of the Heritage Party Faction, said in Parliament on April 29.
The April events are the result of the failed policy of Armenian authorities, which fail to give a proper rebuff to Azerbaijan on international arenas and which are robbing their own country. "Azerbaijan has applied to the United Nations to cancel the ceasefire agreement of 1994. In response, Armenia should immediately recognize the independence of Artsakh and use all its potential for the international recognition of Artsakh," she said.
Postanjyan noted that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and all his teammates should make a personal contribution to acquisition of military hardware. "Sargsyan should personally spend USD 100 million and his teammates - nearly 500 people - should invest within the range of possibility," she said, noting that the ruling regime should draw certain conclusions from the four-day war and should realize that the only ally of Armenia and Artsakh is the soldier standing on the frontline.
