On April 23, lawyer Ara Zohrabyan and reserve army colonel Hayk Nahapetyan submitted a crime report to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia demanding that Nikol Pashinyan be brought to justice for illegally surrendering the sovereign territories of Armenia, the settlements of the Tavush region, to Azerbaijan.
According to the Constitution of Armenia, issues related to changes in the territory of the Republic can be resolved exclusively through a national referendum, they emphasized. According to the Prosecutor General, the application was sent to the National Security Service because a number of documents were attached to it, including property certificates that require verification of their authenticity. "After the inspection, the issue of initiating a criminal case will be discussed," Vardapetyan noted.
