A delegation from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of International Affairs and Department of State's Office of the Legal Adviser visited Armenia this week to discuss further strengthening law enforcement cooperation with the Government of Armenia. This was reported by the press service of the US Embassy in Yerevan.
"With the support of the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Bureau, they also conducted workshops with law enforcement and judicial stakeholders aimed at expanding the use of mutual legal assistance requests to support the investigation and prosecution of criminal activity. The United States remains committed to partnering with Armenia to combat transnational crime and advance the rule of law," the Embassy's statement reads.
