ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived at the National Assembly, where he is scheduled to meet with deputy prime ministers, ministers and members of the Civil Contract faction.
Neither government members nor deputies disclosed the agenda of the meeting. Meanwhile, over the past ten days, this is the third closed meeting of the Prime Minister with the same composition. As the release from the last meeting stated, Pashinyan discussed foreign policy issues with members of the government and CC party members.
Meanwhile, some media sources have reported that, Pashinyan, at a closed meeting with the Civil Contract faction, said that Armenia should apply to join the EU no later than the fall of this year. It was noted that the Prime Minister made it clear to his associates that the West demands from Armenia practical steps to distance itself from Russia and oust it from the region. In this situation, Armenia has no choice but to fulfill these demands, since "Russia has long ago turned away from us."
