ArmInfo. Hungary intends to open its consulate in Armenia, President of Hungary Katalin Novak stated during a joint press conference with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The new leadership of the country received the Hungarian parliamentary delegation in Armenia, and apparently intends to restore all relations with it.
Back in December 2022, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, within the framework of the 29th OSCE ministerial meeting, met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto. Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement to restore full-fledged diplomatic relations, expressing their intention to open a new chapter in Armenian-Hungarian relations based on mutual trust and respect for international law.
