ArmInfo. The alternative socio-political movement "Together" expresses unconditional support for the activities of the "Europeans for Artsakh" movement.
The Movement's statement received by ArmInfo recalls that on January 27 and 28, rallies organized by "Europeans for Artsakh" were held in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UK. with a demand to the heads of their states and the leadership of the European Union to unequivocally condemn the genocidal policy of Azerbaijan towards the indigenous Armenian population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). It is recalled that as a result of Azerbaijan's aggression, 150 thousand Artsakh residents were deported from their homes in the 21st century, deprived of their native land, and the thousand-year-old material and spiritual right to own and dispose of cultural values.
"Today we unite our voice of protest and demands with the activities of 500 associations defending justice from 15 member states of the European Union and the Council of Europe, convinced that the geography of our struggle will expand.
Sanctions must be applied against the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan, the criminal representatives of the genocidal regime who organized and carried out the illegal blockade of the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor, violation of the ceasefire, the September 19 terrorist attack and the ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Armenian population of the Republic of Artsakh.
The "Together" movement supports all those associations whose actions are aimed at international recognition of the status of Artsakh, independent from genocidal and dictatorial Azerbaijan, and guarantees of security," the Movement's statement says.
