ArmInfo. Investigation into the 44-day war case is proceeding in several directions, Head of Armenia's Investigation Committee Argishti Kyaramyan said in an interview with Armenia's Public Television.
In particular, he noted that we are talking about the 10th, 18th rifle divisions, the 1st Army Corps, the defense of Shushi, the events that followed the operation on October 7-8, problems related to conscription, etc.
At the same time, Karamyan said that colossal work was carried out as part of the investigation, tens of thousands of people were interrogated, and there were cases when the investigation was carried out even at the level of an individual company.
In this regard, he noted that the investigation in all directions, with the exception of one, has been completed. When asked what issue was being discussed, the head of the Investigative Committee noted that it was inappropriate to disclose this information at the moment.
At the same time, he said that the Investigative Committee sent criminal cases to court against 422 persons, of which 99 were officers. Most of these cases, according to Kyaramyan, are at the stage of judicial investigation.
When asked whether the reasons for losing the war are clear today, he noted that the very concept of "reasons for loss" is ambiguous. "There are circumstances that contribute to the loss, there are persons whose activities or inaction led to the loss," he noted.
However, as a preliminary investigation body, the Investigative Committee today, according to Kyaramyan, already has answers to many questions of interest to the public.
