"Naturally, we will not hear any words of condolences from the office of the High "non"-Commissioner of the Diaspora," Manukyan concluded.

Let us note that the Armenian quarter of Jerusalem has already come under attack from radical groups in Israel more than once. All this is happening against the backdrop of the silence of the Israeli authorities, who are complaining of anti-Semitism right and left. The last such blatant act occurred on December 28.  about 30 masked armed men invaded the territory of the "Cow Garden" and committed violent acts, as a result of which the clergy of the Patriarchate and members of the local Armenian community received various bodily injuries.  These actions were condemned by the French Consulate in Israel and the Mother See of Etchmiadzin, the Cilician Catholicosate of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
