ArmInfo. The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) has implemented numerous projects in Armenia aimed at effective management and protection of conservation areas.
In total, support in Armenia was provided within the framework of 1 million 83 thousand euros, of which 803 thousand euros were directly allocated to support protected areas. From this amount, corresponding allocations were made to the 4th SNCO and the Arpa Community Protected Landscape. In particular, 336,000 euros were allocated to the Zangezur biosphere complex, 133,000 euros to the Khosrov Forest state reserve, 184,000 euros to the Dilijan national park, 55,000 euros to the Lake Arpi national park and 95,000 euros to the protected landscape "Arpa".
"2024 is an anniversary year for the Armenian representative office of CNF. The 15th anniversary of activity in Armenia will be celebrated, which means that there will be more new and interesting programs.
"Our mission is the same: to contribute to strengthening the protection of Armenia's unique biodiversity and effective management of protected areas," the CNF reports.
