ArmInfo. There are no plans for one-on-one meetings at the informal CIS summit on Tuesday, but all leaders may interact within the framework of the event in St. Petersburg, presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti.
"At the moment there are no plans for separate bilateral meetings. But on the sidelines of the summit, they may communicate," the agency's interlocutor said, answering a question about the possibility of holding a bilateral meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and a trilateral Russia-Armenia Azerbaijan meeting.
Moscow has repeatedly expressed its readiness to organize a high-level meeting between Armenia and Azerbaijan on its site. However, the Armenian side considered it inappropriate to meet on the Russian platform, noting that the Western platform is more effective.
