ArmInfo. Problems of public transport operation are still the most relevant for Yerevan residents. This is evidenced by the results of the survey "Tell, we'll do - we'll paint, we'll exact it", conducted by the MPG consulting company (Marketing Professional Group - the exclusive representative of the International GALLUP Association in Armenia).
Thus, when asked to mention the most relevant problem for Yerevan, 32.9% (37.1% - in 2022) of respondents pointed to the inadequate operation of public transport, 27.5% - traffic around the city, traffic jams and lack of parking spaces (5.5% - in 2022), 24.6% - garbage removal (25.1% - in 2022), 15.4% - ecology (10.9% - in 2022), 15.3% - stray dogs (2.9% - in 2022), 12.9% - poor condition of roads (3.9% - in 2022), 7.9% - city cleanliness, 6% - inflation, 5.6% - landscaping, 4.8% - poor state of the educational system, 3.9% - safety, 3.8% - illegal construction. 3.1% - problems associated with elevators, 2.9% - unemployment, 2.9% - poor service in medical institutions, 2.5% - city lighting. Another 12.3% of respondents gave different answers, and 3% even found it difficult to answer this question.
At the same time, 33.1% of respondents praised the import of new buses and introduction of new routes. Another 13.4% of respondents mmentioned asphalting roads, 13.1% - landscaping courtyards, 12.5% - increasing green areas. 8.1% of respondents gave a different answer, 21.1% of respondents did not see any changes, another 1.6% found it difficult to answer.
When asked what events they would like the municipality to organize, 32.4% of respondents were in favor of organizing children's events. 21.9% - for an increase in landscaping projects, 18.6% - for cultural events, 15.1% - cleanup days, 14.6% - construction of children's playgrounds, 8.1% - events for youth, 5.4% - sports programs, 11.9% - gave other answers. Another 8.6% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
The survey was conducted through telephone calls to residents of Yerevan during the period from December 13 to December 16 of this year. The sample size was 800 people, error 3%.
