ArmInfo. The South Caucasus Railway company is extending the promotion of free travel for displaced people from Nagorno-Karabakh on commuter trains to the first quarter of 2024.
According to the company's statement, the promotion is valid from October 1 for those citizens who arrived in Armenia after September 25 of this year. In less than three months of the action, 3,200 citizens took advantage of it. Previously, it was planned to end the campaign on January 1, but taking into account the social significance of the campaign and in agreement with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, the company decided to extend it for another 3 months.
The right of free travel applies to local electric trains running daily: No. 684/687 Yerevan-Gyumri- Yerevan, No. 686/685 Yerevan-Gyumri-Yerevan, No. 681/682 Gyumri-Yerevan-Gyumri, No. 7010/7011 Araks-Yerevan-Araks and train No. 6512/6517 Eraskh-Yerevan-Eraskh.
