Representatives of the Armenian media, accredited by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, visited the southwestern border zone of the Republic of Armenia on November 10- 11 and got acquainted with the progress of large-scale fortification and engineering work carried out on the front line and in the rear.
As an ArmInfo correspondent reports, on the first day of the visit, media representatives were accompanied by the head of the Main Directorate of Engineering Troops of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Major General Karen Grigoryan. He spoke in detail about the current work on the spot.
Then, in the city of Jermuk, a meeting was held between the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense and media representatives. A number of issues related to the fight against disinformation and cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
Further, on November 11, practical combat shooting classes were organized for journalists at one of the army corps' shooting ranges. The commander of the army corps, Colonel Sasun Badasyan, awarded the journalists who hit the targets with certificates of honor.
