ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not participate in the EAEU and CIS intergovernmental councils in Bishkek. Instead, Armenia will be represented at the councils by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers.
"Armenia is a member state of the CIS and the EAEU. At meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS, it will be represented by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan," said a representative of the press service.
Earlier it was reported that Pashinyan left on October 26 for a one-day working visit to Georgia, where he will take part in the international Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.
Recently, Armenia has not participated at a high or higher level in the work of such organizations as the EAEU, the CIS and the CSTO. Thus, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the head of the Foreign Ministry did not take part in the work of the CIS statutory bodies in Bishkek at the beginning of October. On September 29, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan did not participate in a meeting of the CIS Council of Defense Ministers in Tula. Armenia did not participate in the CSTO exercises, etc.
