ArmInfo. Armenia's Premier Nikol Pashinyan has announced a new financial assistance programme for the forcibly displaced Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians.
"In November and December, in addition to the amounts intended to cover housing and utility costs, each of them will be allocated 50 thousand drams from the state budget. The exception will be those individuals and members of their families whose bank account balances exceed a certain threshold, live in state- provided housing or are under state guardianship," he wrote on his Facebook account.
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan will present details of the program today at the Humanitarian Center, he noted.
In the coming days, the authorities will begin discussing issues of long-term housing support for compatriots forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, which will be combined as much as possible with similar programs planned for citizens of the Republic of Armenia.
"I hope that our capable brothers and sisters, forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, will find work in Armenia in the next two months. The government, of course, will support them in every possible way in this matter," the RA Prime Minister wrote.
