ArmInfo.No president has the right to dissolve a republic created by the people through a  referendum, former state minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan wrote on his X (former Twitter) account. 

The decree dissolving the Republic of Artsakh was signed as a result  of Azerbaijan's aggression and use of force, he added. 

Opposition Armenian MP Tigran Abrahamyan, speaking about the fall of  Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook account that the reason for everything  that was happening was the current authorities of Armenia, who back  in April 2022 openly declared their intention to transfer Artsakh to  Azerbaijan.  "The first formulation in parliament was given by the  Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who stated  that he was lowering the bar in the negotiation process on the  Artsakh issue. At the same time, his associates began to "clearly  explain" to the public that their leader renounced the right to  self-determination and sees a solution to the problem in within the  framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Later,  Pashinyan stated that this is not even about the autonomy of Artsakh,  but only about its Azeriization and the consideration of Armenians as  an ethnic minority. To make all this more clear, the government  introduced the theses "Artsakh has a future as part of Azerbaijan."  "Armenian community of Azerbaijan", "Artsakh - historical  Azerbaijan", Abrahamyan noted.

He recalled the results of the Prague summit, at which Pashinyan  stated that he was ready to recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan,  including Artsakh.

"And, as they say, the process began and accelerated. Most of us are  ruled by emotions. Those who sincerely and honestly try to find a way  out and consider the fall of Artsakh to be their own tragedy must  build their struggle within the framework of objective reality. If we  throw aside obvious, objective realities and enter the field into  which the government and its satellites are trying to push us all, as  well as emotional situations filled with tragic events, then this  will bring us to the level of factual misconceptions and  disappointments," Abrahamyan.writes.
