ArmInfo.The search for military personnel and civilians who died and went missing during the hostilities unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh continues.
According to the press service of the NKR Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the active participation of the State Emergency Service, search and rescue operations for dead and missing military personnel and civilians have been ongoing since September 21 throughout Artsakh.
"On September 21, the body of a civilian was discovered in the Ajapnyak quarter of Stepanakert. As a result of search operations carried out on September 22, one wounded serviceman was found and evacuated from the Gaybalishen area of the Shushi region, and the bodies of two dead servicemen were found in Charektar.
On September 23, 68 bodies were evacuated, of which 4 were civilians from the village of Sarnaghbyur in the Askeran region, including 2 children and elderly spouses. On the same day, two citizens were found in the area of the villages of Nakhijevanik and Sarushen; their lives were not in danger. As a result of search and rescue operations carried out on September 24 in various directions, a total of 34 bodies were evacuated, and 3 civilians were found in the village of Shosh in the Askeran region," the NKR Ministry of Internal Affairs said, adding that search and rescue operations continue. The NKR Ministry of Internal Affairs will regularly inform about the results, the department has also again published the phone numbers of the Operational Headquarters - 047 95 75 51 and the Hotline of the National Institute of Public Health: 911.
On September 19, Azerbaijan, under the pretext of an "anti-terrorist operation," undertook another act of aggression against Artsakh. As a result of enemy aggression, hundreds of Artsakh residents were injured, more than 200 deaths were reported, including civilians, and more than 10,000 were evacuated.
On September 20, Artsakh fell. Azerbaijan began the forcible subjugation of the NKR. On September 20, late in the evening it became known that Azerbaijan had deliberately shot at the car of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, killing 5 people, including the deputy commander of the RPC. Today, there were reports that one soldier was killed and another was wounded as a result of shooting at another RPCvehicle. On September 21, a meeting between representatives of Baku and Stepanakert was held in Yevlakh. Azerbaijan demanded the disarmament of the Artsakh Defense Army, the surrender of all military personnel and the abolition of all government bodies.
On September 22, the process of abolishing the Artsakh Defense Army began. There are reports that the enemy side exterminated the population of the villages captured on September 19-20.
As of 12:00 p.m., 4,850 forcibly displaced Artsakh residents arrived in Armenia. The night before it also became known that Artsakh was connected to the energy system of Azerbaijan. Protests demanding the resignation of the RA Prime Minister continue in Yerevan and regions.
