ArmInfo.Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Toivo Klaar exchanged views on the process of normalization of Azerbaijani-Armenian relations, negotiations mediated by international partners, including the European Union, as well as on the current regional situation.
Bayramov ,in accordance with tradition, accused Armenia of "military-political provocations in the region" and assured that statements about the blockade and the tense humanitarian situation do not contribute to the achievement of peace and stability.
He further stated that "Armenia is violating the agreements supported by the European Union on the use of the Akna (Agdam)-Stepanakert road and the intensification of traffic along the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor, as well as on dialogue with representatives of the Armenian population for their reintegration."
"All this indicates that Armenia is not interested in the normalization process," Bayramov said. The parties also discussed other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest, the source notes.
