ArmInfo.Azerbaijan wants the Akna (Agdam)-Stepanakert road to become a starting point for the "reintegration" of the Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh. Hikmet Hajiyev, a foreign policy advisor to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, told journalists, who accompanied the trip of foreign diplomats to Akna, , allegedly to demonstrate the infrastructure built to launch the movement to besieged Artsakh.
Thus, the Azerbaijani official once again confirmed that Azerbaijani blockade was aimed at the forcible absorption of Artsakh.
At the same time, Hajiyev cynically stated that while Azerbaijan is building roads, they (Artsakh people - ed. note) continue to install roadblocks. Hajiyev also decided "to worry" about the budget of the Artsakh people, and assured that this road would also significantly reduce transport costs, and in this way it would be possible to deliver everything necessary for the Armenians living in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"They will also get the opportunity to use this road to promote their products to the markets of Azerbaijan. But instead of using this road, they set up barriers. Azerbaijan's proposal is to make this road the starting point for the reintegration of Karabakh Armenians into the political, economic, social the sesctors of Azerbaijan. Unfortunately, they refuse it. As you can see, there is also a railway here. In fact, all this is done in order to make life easier for them, solve this problem through political means and create better economic and social opportunities. Unfortunately, they set up barriers at the other end of the road so that it was impossible to use it," said the representative of the state that has been besieging 120,000 residents of Artsakh for 248 days and is waiting to die them of starvation.
Commenting on Hajiyev's revelations, Russian-Israeli blogger Alexander Lapshin recalled that 2 weeks ago, on July 31, 2023, he wrote that the Azerbaijanis would soon organize a provocation in Agdam with "humanitarian supplies". "They will drive a convoy of trucks with expired and low-quality products, bring foreign diplomats and show that it is not Azerbaijan that starves the people of Artsakh, but the Armenian authorities themselves. Today, August 16, 2023, all the media in Azerbaijan write that a convoy with humanitarian aid is moving towards Aghdam, as well as a convoy with diplomats, who are being carried by a rare slicker, Aliyev's personal adviser, Hikmet Hajiyev," Lapshin said. "Even then, I wrote that friends, have time to prepare for a provocation, you don't have much time. Moreover, I clearly wrote what needs to be done, I wrote it point by point. Do you think someone heard my words? Of course not. On the contrary, fools ran into the comments shouting: "All this is nonsense, the Russians will not allow this, and Yerevan is older than Rome!" and "Lapshin is a spy, and we are smart." If I had bet on the stupidity of many Armenians, I would have become a millionaire."
Tell you what's next? The Azerbaijanis will use their intelligence network inside the territory controlled by Russian peacekeepers to kidnap Artsakh residents directly from Stepanakert, Martakert and Martuni. I hope you have no doubt that not all the inhabitants of Artsakh are saints and there are enough spies and enemies there who provide the state security service of Azerbaijan with information about everything that is happening in Stepanakert.
In addition, a number of officers and soldiers of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, perhaps, do not live on the salary of the Russian Ministry of Defense, but earn a little money on the "side", if you understand what I mean. And now let's write that Lapshin is lying all the time, the spy, he doesn't praise us enough. Then do not forget to raise a toast to Artsakh. And I ran to the next meeting just in defense of Artsakh," he said.
Lapshin once again recalled what he said and wrote that the next provocation of Azerbaijan would be in Aghdam and they would try to bring "humanitarian aid" to the starving Artsakh, adding that after the Azerbaijani trucks with expired Azerbaijani products, the Azerbaijani servicemen would enter Stepanakert "to follow the order in the distribution of products to the population" and the topic of Artsakh can be closed once and for all. "And if you think that the Russian peacekeepers will stop them, you are mistaken, the Russians will only express their concern," the blogger said.
Lapshin also drew attention to the fact that now the special services of Azerbaijan have started working through the Russians in Armenia. "They took on Russian groups in social networks and everywhere from anonymous accounts, under the guise of "naive tourists" impose a new agenda on both the Russians in Armenia and the Armenians themselves - "Artsakh must be given to Azerbaijan for the sake of peace".
Absolutely identical word for word messages allegedly from "naive Russians" (in fact, these are Azerbaijani bots) with a proposal to transport products from Azerbaijan to Artsakh. And then, in support of their publication, Baku agents release bots with Armenian surnames that write "It's a good idea to transport products from Azerbaijan to Artsakh!", "For the sake of peace, we must go for it!". Further, the most important thing is that the fake Russians under the leadership of General Ali Nagiyev from the State Security Service of Azerbaijan raise the question - "for what reason it is impossible to bring food from Azerbaijan, maybe the Armenian authorities staged a famine in Artsakh, and the Azerbaijanis, on the contrary, want the people of Artsakh feed?"
It is interesting to observe how initially only 2-3 Azerbaijani bots worked in the comments. But then real Armenians from uneducated marginals join in, and some of them support Azerbaijani agents and like the words "Don't refuse help, Azerbaijan wants to help!", he noted.
Lapshin added that the Azerbaijanis took up information processing of tens of thousands of Russians in Yerevan. "Now they are just testing the target audience, but in general, General Ali Nagiyev seriously bet on the Russians in Armenia to organize provocations. Most of the Russians in Armenia are smart and worthy guys, and they themselves fled from dictatorship and war, I hope for their intelligence here as well. And we will be vigilant and try to nip these provocations in the bud," he concluded.
