ArmInfo. The information claiming that non-essential goods have allegedly been delivered to Artsakh as part of the humanitarian cargo is absolutely false, Artsakh State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan wrote in a Facebook message.
The State Minister noted that Artsakh is going through rather difficult times today. The government is constantly working to mitigate the problems faced by the population. Much of this work is being done quietly and inconspicuously, and there are a number of issues that, for obvious reasons, cannot be discussed publicly. This work is being carried out in the presence of many systemic, personnel and human problems, which are practically not mentioned, he noted.
"But even in these conditions, there are people who engage in idle talk, their main occupation is to sow hatred and enmity towards the state and state bodies, completely unaware of state administration and the deep picture of the current situation, the diversity and number of problems, in order to gain false authority, they are constantly irresponsible and baselessly criticize the state, use the feelings of overstressed citizens and try to use them for personal or group interests," Mr Nersisyan said.
Nevertheless, the state minister makes a number of statements, which, in his opinion, are of great importance in the current situation. Thus, during the blockade, along with taking care of the needs of the 120,000 population of Artsakh, thanks to the storage of various products, the government was able to organize both spring sowing in volumes exceeding previous years, and a certain harvest. In addition, today citizens have the opportunity to receive a minimum amount of food, fruits and vegetables.
It is noted that long lines for bread and other products are caused by a shortage of the product, which is mainly caused by the spread of false information and the creation of panic among the population.
"The government has provided and will continue to provide fuel only for the work of harvesting and organizing the internal life of the country. Fuel has not been provided to anyone and will not be provided for any other purposes," he noted.
According to the state minister, "the information circulating from time to time that during the blockade of humanitarian goods in Artsakh allegedly delivered non-essential food is clearly false." "Moreover, the government and I were the only ones who fought against cases of delivery of such goods to Artsakh through corruption," he stated.
Mr Nersisyan calls for refraining from attempts to subjectively use public emotions in the current situation. "The weakening of the foundations of the state and statehood in Artsakh, or steps towards this, is nothing but, to put it mildly, a stab in the back, and such phenomena are unacceptable. I call on state bodies and officials to draw conclusions from objective criticism, but never indulge in gossip and emotions," he wrote.
