ArmInfo.EU foreign ministers will discuss, among other things, the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan at a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council on Thursday.
The meeting of the Foreign Ministry Council will begin with a working breakfast with the participation of the UN representative on human rights. Then the main meeting of the Foreign Ministry Council will begin, which will be devoted to three topics: the conflict in Ukraine, the foreign policy aspect of economic security, and relations with Turkey, a high-ranking European source told RIA Novosti. He also noted that in the afternoon the EU foreign ministers will hold an hour and a half online discussion with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken on a wide range of issues.
At the end of the meeting, the ministers plan to discuss current issues, including China, the outcome of the July 17-18 summit with the countries of Latamerica and the Caribbean, the normalization between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Tunisia.
The meeting will start in Brussels at 10:00am local time. Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, will hold a final press conference.
