ArmInfo. Armenian Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan received a delegation from the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation (Europol), headed by Executive Director Catherine De Bolle.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the parties discussed issues of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the Prosecutor General of Armenia highly appreciated the cooperation of the law enforcement agencies of Armenia with Europol, in this context, recalling the agreement signed on September 28, 2021 between the Republic of Armenia and Europol, aimed at the exchange of information between the EU member states and law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Armenia.
Vardapetyan welcomed the joint efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation, expressing her hope that this will lead to an effective fight against money laundering, illegal property and war crimes.
Catherine De Bolle expressed her readiness to deepen cooperation with the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia in a number of areas.
