Since June 15, for the 9th day, Artsakh has been under a complete blockade of Azerbaijan without any humanitarian movement, and about 190 patients with various diagnoses are waiting to be transferred to the medical institutions of the Republic of Armenia to receive appropriate medical care. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh.
It is noted that a one-year-old child diagnosed with viral encephalitis with a hemorrhagic component, who is currently in the department of neonatology and resuscitation of the Arevik medical association of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Artsakh, needs urgent transportation.
At the moment, 96 patients are being treated in the Republican Medical Center CJSC, 7 patients are in the intensive care unit, 4 of them are in critical condition. 33 children receive treatment in the Arevik Medical Center, 1 of them is in serious condition.
These days, the two-way movement of patients from Artsakh and the delivery of medical supplies and medicines to Artsakh has been completely blocked for the International Committee of the Red Cross. In connection with the suspension of the import of medicines in all medical institutions of the republic, all planned examinations and interventions are still suspended.
