ArmInfo.Ex-member of Armenia's Parliament Sofya Hovsepyan is reporting a disastrous situation in Artsakh, where people are starving.
"120,000 people will find themselves in a catastrophic situation unless necessary measures taken within two or three days. I cannot do anything physically, but I call for not being indifferent," Ms Hovsepyan wrote on her Facebook account.
She added that pharmacies are running out of medicines and milk formulas, leaving small children hungry. There are very few stocks of bread, they are not enough for a week. Medicines do not reach hospitals, and patients from four villages cannot be taken either to Stepanakert or Goris, even an ambulance is not allowed to reach them.
"I can list thousands of cases, but ... I am addressing you as a mother, as a woman, as a grandmother, as just an Armenian: you need to go out into the street, speak in front of all the embassies, in front of an ownerless structure called the UN, in front of the Russian embassy, you need to demand , you have to get up ... People, please turn off the shutdown mode, trouble is coming! Very big... Waiting for an answer and steps. Forgive me for not doing all this myself, I have never felt more helpless," Mr Hovsepyan wrote.
